Diaz and Moore Reelected to Floydada School Board

FLOYDADA, TX – Due to a lack of candidates for the upcoming May election, the Floydada Collegiate ISD Board of Trustees canceled the election declaring the unopposed candidates Gracie Diaz and Randy Moore, elected Thursday night.

Diaz, a graduate of Floydada High School, was first appointed to the Board in 2014, won reelection in both 2017 and 2020, and serves as Secretary.

Moore is the newest Trustee and was elected to the seat vacated by Lyle Miller in November of 2021. He’s a graduate of Post High School and son-in-law of former Board President Mitch Probasco.

Other current members of the Floydada CISD Board include Roger Hughes (President), Kay Brotherton (Vice President), Beverly Collins, Brianne Glasscock, and Eric Smith.
