SAN ANTONIO, TX – Floyd County native John Angel Yannis claimed victory tonight in a mixed martial arts (MMA) FURY76 Bantamweight bout.
Yannis, who now makes his home in Plainview, defeated Casey Jones unanimously (29-28 X3).
His professional record improves to 4-2 with two consecutive unanimous decisions and two knockouts in two years; this after going 6-3 as an amateur.
