SHAMROCK, TX – The Lockney Lady Horns had one member of their team qualify for the state powerlifting meet on March 15th.
Senior Anna Hernandez placed 3rd at the regional meet on March 3rd.
Hernandez hit the qualifying total of 850 and would finish with a total of 875.
Hernandez’ 2023 Regional Meet Result:
Squat: 350
Bench Press: 175
Deadlift: 350
Total – 875
Lockney also had senior Karen Trenado, who placed 5th at the regional meet with a 750 total.
Trenado’s 2023 Regional Meet Result:
Squat: 285
Bench Press: 150
Deadlift: 315
Total: 750
The State Meet will take place in Frisco, Texas, on March 15–18 at the Comerica Center.
