FLOYDADA, TX – The #14-ranked Floydada Whirlwinds (28-5, 10-1) will take on the #13 Olton Mustangs (22-4, 11-0) on Tuesday in a district deciding game.
The Mustangs currently sit atop the district standings with a 11-0 record, and with a win on Tuesday, they can claim the district title.
The Whirlwinds have a chance to become co-district winners with Olton if they are able to win the game on Tuesday and win their remaining two games.
Floydada was victorious in their last game against Ralls, 132-67.
Olton won their game against Lockney, 70–38.
In their last matchup against each other, the Mustangs defended their home court and were victorious over the Whirlwinds, 72-68.
