LOCKNEY, TX – The Lockney Lady Horns (20-10, 7-5) hosted the Ralls Lady Rabbits (6-19, 1-11) on Tuesday in a district game.
Both teams had a slow start to the game, as Lockney led 9-8 at the end of the first quarter.
The Lady Horns were able to generate more offense in the second quarter, however, as they went on a 17-7 run and extended their lead to 26-15.
Lockney would score a game high 19 points in the third quarter as they led 45-25.
In the fourth quarter, the Lady Horns were able to hold off the Lady Rabbits and secure the victory, 57-34.
Lockney’s seniors Adriana Villarreal and Mariah Ascencio both had 18 points in the Lady Horns’ victory on Tuesday.
