LOCKNEY, TX – The Lockney Lady Horns (16-8, 3-3) played against the Olton Fillies (8-14, 4-2) on Tuesday night in a district matchup.
The two teams were back and forth in the first quarter and would end it tied at 15.
The Lady Horns would take the lead late in the second quarter and hold it until the end of halftime, up 22-19.
The Fillies were held to only two points in the third quarter, and Lockney increased their lead going into the fourth quarter, up 31-21.
In the fourth quarter, the Fillies were able to make a run and tie the game at 38, sending the game into overtime.
It was all Olton in the overtime period as they would score 14 and secure the victory over the Lady Horns, 52-44.
Senior Mariah Ascensio led the Lady Horns in points on Tuesday with 14.
