LOCKNEY, TX – The Lockney Lady Horns hosted their district opener against the Sudan Nettes on Tuesday night.
The Lady Horns were able to generate a second-quarter run to put them in the lead, 26-24, going into the locker room at halftime.
The Nettes were able to take control of the game in the second half, and in the third quarter, their offense produced 24 points, and they had the lead going into the fourth quarter, 48-41.
The Lady Horns battled back in the fourth quarter, but Sudan was able to secure the win over Lockney, 68-57.
Lockney was led in scoring by Senayda Bernal with 18 points.
The Lady Horns will play their next district game on Friday in New Deal.
