LOCKNEY, TX – The Lockney Longhorns hosted Crosbyton to play in their final non-district game of the season against the Chiefs.
Lockney was able to jump ahead offensively against the Chiefs, and they went to the locker room at halftime with a seven-point lead, 24-17.
It was continued pressure from the Longhorns in the second half that helped give them the win over Crosbyton 47-39.
Lockney’s senior Johnathan Cienfuegos produced a double-double with 22 points and 13 rebounds in the Longhorns’ victory.
The Longhorns will face their first district opponent in Smyer on Tuesday, December 20th, in Lockney.
