LOCKNEY – If you’re wanting to get a jump on Thanksgiving and celebrate the Harvest season, Lockney’s First Methodist Church invites you to come join them Saturday.
The church, located at 102 W. Poplar in Lockney, is hosting their annual Harvest Festival from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. November 5. For $10 you will get a home cooked turkey and dressing lunch with sweet potatoes, green beans and cranberry sauce with homemade rolls. Peach cobbler will be available for dessert.
Tickets for the lunch are available at the church office or from church members. Tickets can be picked up in Floydada at the Texas Farm Bureau office.
The event will also feature a Country Store opening at 10:45 a.m. with canned and baked goods for sale. The church will also have a silent auction with handcrafted jewelry and home décor items for sale.
