LOCKNEY, TEXAS- The Lockney Longhorns (2-6, 1-2) play a crucial district game against the Hale Center Owls (3-5, 1-2) on Friday.
Last week, the Longhorns fell to Ralls 42-13, while the Owls were defeated by Bovina 32-14.
This is almost a must-win for both teams as they sit in the fourth spot within their district, and with a win, the Longhorns give themselves a good opportunity to secure a playoff spot.
This will be Lockney’s final home game of the regular season as they will travel to Bovina next week for their final regular season game.
