FLOYDADA, TX – Week 3 of 2-2A(D1) play begins on Friday for the Whirlwinds (4-3, 1-1) as they are at home against the Bulldogs (4-3, 1-1) of Tahoka.
Last week, Floydada faced one of the toughest teams in the district in New Deal and fell to the Lions 42-7.
The Bulldogs faced Post last week in Tahoka and took care of business 41-20.
Last year, the last meeting between the two teams was a dominant performance for the Winds as they won 39-6. Floydada is 2-0 against Tahoka since the Bulldogs joined the district.
