Floyd County Grand Jury hands down 12 indictments

FLOYDADA – A Floyd County Grand Jury handed down a dozen indictments to eleven people from recent criminal cases in the county on Thursday, October 13. The charges are listed below with the defendant’s bond amount in parenthesis.

*Rose Cuellar, 68 – Theft of more than $2,500 but less than $30,000. ($5,000)
*Trey Holmes, 39 – Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver in amounts between 4 to 200 grams of Cocaine and 50-200 lbs. of Marijuana with a previous felony conviction. ($90,000)
*Uriah Kitchens, 43 – Unlawful Use of a Vehicle and Evading Arrest. ($15,000)
*Alexander Garcia, 31 – Driving While Intoxicated with Child Passenger and Retaliation threat to Police Officer. (Personal Recognizance)
*Velia Martinez, 68 – Forgery ($5,000)
*Jesus Garcia, 65 – Possession of Methamphetamine less than one gram ($1,000)
*Gilbert Encizo III, 30 – Driving While Intoxicated with Child Passenger ($4,000)
*Ismael Echavarria, 29 – FIRST INDICTMENT: Failure to Register as a Sex Offender  ($5,000)
SECOND INDICTMENT: Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon. ($5,000)
*Augustine Ascencio, 31 – Driving While Intoxicated, third offense ($20,000)
*Daniel Thomas, 20 – Possession or Promotion of Lewd Visual Material of a Child Under 18 ($100,000)
*Anthony Ray Balderas, 22 – Evading Arrest ($10,000)
