FLOYDADA, TX – It was a long night for the Whirlwind Junior Varsity squad Thursday as they fell to New Deal, 52-0.
Also on Thursday, the Lions 8th grade team bested Floydada’s 8th graders, 40-20.
The Whirlwind Varsity team (1-0) is still riding high after an overtime win over Sundown last week at home. They’ll look to improve to 2-0 in district play as they travel to New Deal Friday night. Catch the action live on 106.1 KFLP-FM or online here.
