FLOYDADA – The most important thing to remember in a “Punkin Run” is that you don’t have to run with a pumpkin, unless you just want to.
The Floydada Collegiate High School Business Professionals of America (BPA) student organization is hosting the event as a fundraiser as part of the 35th annual Punkin Days celebration. The entry fee for the run is $20 per person, and comes with a free t-shirt.
The run starts from the Floyd County Courthouse square at 9:00 a.m. Medals will be given in each age group.
You can stop by KFLP Radio at 201 W. California or the high school to pick up a registration form. You can also email Pam Ricketts at pricketts@floydadaisd.esc17.net to request a form. The deadline to register is September 23.
