FLOYDADA, TX – Preparations are underway for the largest and most demanding event for the Floydada Chamber of Commerce: Punkin Days.
With this year’s event marking the 35th anniversary of the town’s celebration of the bright orange gourd, Kalli Martin, President of the Chamber, is asking for sponsors and, maybe, more importantly, volunteers.
“Not many small communities have a festival or event as grand as Punkin Days,” the Floydada-native explains. We are grateful for the 35 years of community volunteers and donors that have helped build this festival to the success it is, but we can’t do it without your help.”
Martin says they need help everywhere, including events, booths, setting up, and tearing down.
