LUBBOCK – Gunner Fore is now in esteemed company. He’s officially earned “Friend of the Show” status for Live From The Backroom. I count the boys in Kin Faux, Sam Cox’s wife’s band (better known as Ragland), Mason Server from Mason & The Gin Line, Jordan Robert Kirk and Jenni Dale Lord among that acclaimed group.
Part of the reason Gunner was back is I always enjoy talking with him, but more importantly it’s because he and The Interstate have their new album “Music for the Hard Times” out now wherever you consume music. Not only did I get my physical CD of the album I’d been jamming since its late June release, I got to hear Gunner sing at his most raw – just him and a guitar.
