BIG SPRING – The Floydada Lady Whirlwinds softball team lost game 1 of their UIL regional semifinal to the Stamford Lady Bulldogs Friday night.
The #3 state ranked Lady Winds lost 3 to 1 to the #2 ranked Stamford Lady Bulldogs.
The 3-1 loss means Floydada will have to win both games 2 and 3 in the series to advance.
Game 2 begins at 10:00 Saturday morning and will be live on 106.1 FLiP FM.
