FLOYD COUNTY – The postseason awards for three outstanding Floyd County basketball players continue to roll in as they near the end of high school.
Two seniors from Lockney and one from Floydada were named to the 2021-2022 Texas Association of Basketball Coaches Academic All-State teams. Lockney’s Austin Rodriguez was recognized on the boys side for class 2A while Lockney’s Gabby Cervantes and Floydada’s Erin Trevino were named to the girls’ team.
All three were previously named to similar lists by the Texas High School Coaches Association.
