FLOYDADA – A windy Tuesday afternoon surrounded Floydada in dust and caused damage to FCISD’s former football home.
The pole came down around 5:45 Tuesday evening, falling into the parking lot along Fifth Street.
FCISD maintenance employees tell the Record the transformer that supplies power to the pole is turned off when the stadium is not in use, and that city workers will be at the sight Wednesday to clear the debris.
