RALLS – The Ralls Lady Jackrabbits good off to a good start in the District 3-2A softball race by taking two games from the Lockney Lady Horns in their opening series. Ralls (11-3, 2-0) won on Tuesday 20-0 at Lockney, and were victorious on Saturday 16-3 at Ralls.
Lockney (4-5, 0-2) jumped out to a 3-0 lead in Saturday’s game thanks to a 3-RBI home run by Annalicia Hernandez in the first inning.
Ralls would answer by scoring in all five innings. Cadence Yocum was 3-4 batting and five RBI that included a homerun. Allie Hitt also produced five RBI and a homerun, while Alex Escobar was 3-4 with a triple and two RBI. Rhiley Elliott was the winning pitcher for Ralls.
Lockney will be idle during spring break. Ralls will have a two game district set with Sundown at Ralls on Tuesday, and at Sundown on Saturday.
