George Harris (Bushland)
George Harris, 72, of Bushland, Texas passed from this world on February 19, 2022.
George was born to Howard and Geneva Harris on April 23, 1949, in Lubbock and grew up in Cone, graduating from Floydada High School in 1967. He married Linda Grigg on May 26, 1973. In June of 1989, they moved to Bushland and Amarillo where he worked at Midway Chevrolet, and He worked for 21 years at Dulaney Auto Parts in Amarillo. George was a member of Bell Ave. Baptist. He loved his family and working with children at the church. George loved showing a 1906 Buick at car shows all over the Panhandle and the South Plains. He enjoyed spending time with his grandkids.
George is survived by his wife; Linda, son; Randy of Amarillo, daughter; Michelle Dotson husband Dwayne of Pampa, grandkids; Bentley Dotson and Asher Dotson, his brother; Franklin Harris wife Dixie of Floydada, his sisters; Jean Alsup of Bentonville Arkansas and Diane Van Zandt of Rio Vista Texas and several nieces and nephews.
