FLOYDADA – Thanks to quick work and generous donations, the Floydada Animal Shelter now has a van to transport stray animals to new homes.
The shelter put out the call earlier this month for donations to raise money for the transport van, and raised much of the money within the first few hours. Last weekend they were able to purchase the Chevy Express 3500 in Kansas and bring it back to Floydada. This weekend they put the van to use for the first time, transporting multiple animals to animal rescues.
