Mark K. Snell (Floydada)
Mark K. Snell, age 58, passed away on February 5, 2022. Cremation arrangements are under the personal care of Moore-Rose Funeral Home in Floydada.
Mark was born July 10, 1963, in Crosby County to Clyde Harold and Vivian Ruth (Farwell) Snell. Mark met and married the woman his family called the love of his life, Darolyn Gail Good. Mark wore many different hats over the course of his life. He spent numerous years as a member of the Floydada Volunteer Fire Department. Mark wore a variety of hats in his work careers as well, working in the oil field industry, working in maintenance at WJ Mangold Memorial Hospital, and working as a jailer at the Floyd County Jail. Mark enjoyed a wide variety of hobbies and interests over the years including motorcycling and dirt bike riding, cars, camping, and wood and leather working, creating many treasured items for family members over the years. But by far Mark enjoyed spending time with his family. He loved family gatherings of all kinds and especially loved being with his sons and grandsons.
He was preceded in death by both his maternal and fraternal grandparents.
Those left to cherish Mark’s memory are his wife, Darolyn Snell; his sons, Joel David (Lindsey) Snell, Kaleb Andrew Snell and Tyson Blake Snell; his grandsons, Kobe James, Jaxon Jeremiah, and Grayson Jett Snell; his parents, Harold and Vivian Snell; his sister Donna (Tracy) Webb; his sisters-in-law Sarah (Rex) Fields and Mary (Scott) Hale; numerous nephews, a great-niece, and nephew and numerous extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Floydada VFD, Lockney VFD, Dougherty VFD, or the Floydada EMS.
