Elisa Delgado (Floydada)
Elisa L. Delgado was called to her final resting place on Saturday, February 5, 2022, at the age of 82. She was surrounded by her family and loved ones. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 1:00 p.m., Friday, February 11, 2022, at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church in Floydada. Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., Thursday, February 10, 2022, at the Moore-Rose Funeral Home in Floydada. Arrangements are under the personal care of Moore-Rose Funeral Home in Floydada.
Elisa was born October 21, 1939 in D’ Hanis, Texas to Eulalio and Andrea (Constante) Lopez. She married the love of her life, Tomas H. Delgado on November 6, 1961. She was a full–time devoted housewife and loving mother. Elisa enjoyed going to dance parties in her younger years with friends, and she loved taking her chances at the casinos. She will be remembered and missed for her wonderful delicious meals, her sense of humor, her thoughtfulness, and her adoring love.
Elisa is preceded in death by her husband Tomas H’ Delgado; one daughter Esmeralda Delgado, her parents Eulalio Lopez and Andrea Constante, four brothers, Claudio, Augustine, Demetrio and Roberto Lopez; three sisters, Alejandra Gutierrez, Eduelia Reyes and Maria Luisa Bermea.
Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, Arturo Delgado, Tomas Jr. Delgado, Ismail Delgado, Eulalio Delgado (Blanca); two daughters, Adelaida Saucedo (Richard) and Elisa Suarez (Jesse); twenty-eight grandchildren and twenty-nine great-grandchildren.
