FLOYDADA — The Floyd County Commissioners Court will meet at 8 a.m. Monday for its regular December meeting.
The agenda includes the annual financial audit presentation from Rick Knapp. The commissioners will vote to approve the audit, which cover the fiscal year spanning Oct. 1, 2020 to Sept. 30, 2021.
The court will also introduce a new Texas A&M AgriLife County Extension Agent for Family and Community Health and decide whether to implement a burn ban and fireworks ban.
Also on the agenda: approval of a cooperative agreement between the county and the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service; approval of a joint primary election services contract with the Texas Democratic Party; an order to conform election precincts to new commissioners court precincts and notify voters of the change; information on Gov-Pay and the county’s health insurance; approval of a state bond; discussion on a drainage project; and approval of donations to the Veteran’s County Service Office.
