AFTON, Texas — The Lady Longhorns improved their record to 3-0 by beating the Patton Springs Rangerettes 61-41 Saturday. Lockney jumped to a 20-12 first quarter lead and widened the margin to 38-19 by halftime. Mariah Ascencio led Lockney in scoring (18), rebounds (9) and steals (8).
