FLOYD COUNTY — With cold weather now upon us, Floyd County 4-H is holding a blanket drive as a community service project between now and December.
This project is boys vs. girls, and the stakes are high. If the boys collect more blankets, then Tyann Phillips will get a pie to the face. If the girls win, then Mark Carroll will be pie-faced.
Blankets can be given to any 4-H member for donation. The club will tally up the blankets at their December 14 meeting.
