LOCKNEY — Lockney High School inducted six new members into its chapter of the National Honor Society last Wednesday.
New NHS members are Diego Ascencio, Thalia Ascencio, Annalicia Hernandez, Lexi Morgan, Jackson Mullican and Karen Trenado.
According to the organization’s official website, the National Honor Society “elevates a school’s commitment to the values of scholarship, service, leadership, and character.” NHS members are required to maintain at least a B grade average, participate in service projects and display leadership and good character.
Carol Lane is the chapter’s advisor.
